Wiley’s Pharmacy of Strasburg is our newest pharmacy with Robin E. Shaub, R.Ph., Operations Manager/Pharmacist. He is a Lancaster County native who has been practicing pharmacy in Strasburg for over 30 years. He also provides consultant services to extended care facilities and has worked over 10 years as a staff pharmacist at The Community Hospital of Lancaster.

What do you love most about working at Wiley’s Pharmacy?
The ability to develop a personal relationship with our clientele in a setting that fosters individual service and customer care yet enables us the flexibility to adapt our practice standards as our patients needs evolve. The option to try new programs and endeavors in a supportive structure.
What sets Wiley’s apart from other pharmacies?
We are an independent organization that is dynamic enough to meet the changing health care needs of our patients in rapidly changing health care environment, but we have the benefit of a knowledgeable employee base with years of experience and dedication.
What do you like most about working in Lancaster County?
I appreciate the sincerity and authenticity of our clientele. We are comfortable engaging and developing relationships with our customers.
What kind of relationship do you have with customers?
We have tried to develop bonds of trust and loyalty with our customers by treating them with the respect we would afford our own family members.
What is something you wish more people knew about Wiley’s?
That even though we are a small independent pharmacy we have the ability to help them manage their medication needs in a manner that is as good or better than any other provider.
What should more people know about properly taking and managing their medications?
That compliance is an extremely important element in their treatment plan. Taking the medication in the prescribed manner consistently can enable optimal outcomes with less changes and additions of new medications.
