The Millersville Wiley’s Pharmacy features David W. Patterson R.Ph., as Operations Manager/Pharmacist. He is a long-time resident of Lancaster County and has over 25 years of hospital pharmacy experience, the last four of those years working in a managed care (HMO) setting.

What do you love most about working at Wiley’s Pharmacy?

The great working relationships with my fellow employees. The excellent customer service we provide – everyone at Wiley’s goes “the extra mile” to meet our customers needs. I’m proud of our quality of care and how it’s always a team effort to accomplish our daily work.

What sets Wiley’s apart from other pharmacies?

We take the time to go beyond the customers expectations. We that extra effort to resolve issues or provide the best care in the most cost effective manner.

What do you like most about working in Lancaster County?

It is like being a “hub” to all major cities on the east coast (Mid Atlantic Region). We have the best of all worlds – farming community, small city life, great surrounding towns that offer a myriad of art, music, theater, and other community events.

What kind of relationship do you have with customers?

We have a caring relationship. Our customers know we will go beyond the normal circumstances, if necessary, to provide them with the best possible care.

What is something you wish more people knew about Wiley’s?

We have a great, congenial staff that will take excellent care of you.

What should more people know about properly taking and managing their medications?

Always ask questions. Never assume you, as the patient, understand everything about your meds. Don’t be afraid to ask!
